This getaway is over a year ago but Cintai
Corito's Garden is worth an entry so I'm making one. After posting one of our/my
photos in facebook, I received some "San 'to?", "Magkano
d'yan?" questions and I will include it here.
We visited this Balinese-inspired
sanctuary last July 2015 as our early monthsary escapade. Since I am fond of
garden resort, it was readily registered to my "Places to Visit" list.
This place is a little bit pricey that’s why we just opted to avail their day
tour package. Day tour costs Php1850 per pax inclusive of welcome drinks, lunch
and afternoon snacks. This also includes access to their swimming pools, shower
rooms, playground, and Instagram-worthy corners.

My favorite spot :) |
Cintai, pronounced as “Chin-tai”, is an
Indonesian word for LOVE. This garden resort was made out of love to a wife and
a mother, Corito. Their story is publicly available on their website http://coritosgarden.com/about/.
We had an easy time finding Cintai
Corito’s Garden with the help of Waze. You know you’re on the right track once
you see this sculpture located just along the highway.
We were welcomed by these free-roaming
geese on the grounds – not your ordinary animals.
 |
We had to stop for this shot :) |
We were already charmed by this place even
before approaching their reception office and got more excited with the warm
welcome of their staffs. By the way, if you're commuting, the resort's main gate is about 10-15-minute walk away from the reception office.

This 7-hectare garden paradise has 18
villas available for rent, 4 swimming pools of different sizes for kids and
adults, playground, in-house restaurant – Abadi Restaurant, bar, outdoor spa, and
2 pavilions – Tresna and Napas for special functions.
 |
Pools and trees :) |
Be mesmerized by these giant
Balinese-inspired sculptures and statues around the resort.
 |
Amazing sculpture |
The walls and the doors are also intricately
crafted with traditional Balinese design.
Mandatory photo ops with these astounding doors.
 |
My favorite :) |
We maximized our time to discover the whole place. As we roamed around, we saw some more animals such as spotted deer, eagle, monkey, civet, bantam chicken, peacock and kois. The resort is also surrounded with fruit-bearing trees.
 |
A usual sight in the resort |
For lunch, we had…
 |
Durian cake for dessert |
For our afternoon snack, Balete Suman with Tsokolate and kapeng Barako.
 |
Siesta time in one of their cottages |
We were lucky that day for having these pool only for us :)
 |
The biggest pool |
 |
maRjey having a good time :) |

The upper left corner of this picture is probably the main gate of the resort. |
This is definitely a breath of fresh air! Being surrounded by lush green garden with blooming flowers are just pleasing to the eyes and soul-calming. If you need to take a break from your busy city life, then this place is a perfect getaway for you, your friends, and your family. It provides serenity and relaxation. Unwind and relax.

I just love this view <3 |

Saying goodbye to his new found friends :)

I’ve never been to Bali yet but thanks to
Cintai Corito’s Garden for making us feel we’re in Bali and for making it
accessible for all of us. It was indeed a refreshing weekend getaway. At the end of the day, you'll realize, you get what you paid for. I wanna go back already! :)
Getting There
From Manila, take SLEX all the way to Star Tollway. Exit on Lipa City then turn right to Balete Road. Cintai Coritos Garden is about 4km away and you'll find it on the right side of the road.
